Maja Pušnik

Maja Pušnik received her PhD degree in computer science in 2014 from the University of Maribor, Slovenia and is currently an Assistant Professor at The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. She has accumulated more than 20 years of experience in research and pedagogical work in several undergraduate and graduate courses of different study programs at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Her research interests include human-computer interaction, quality user experience (UX), intelligent user interfaces (IUI), accessibility, accessible UX, inclusive UX, operations research; sensor-based process optimization, optimization of business processes, decision theories, project management and strategic planning. She has appeared as an author and co-author in several peer-reviewed scientific journals and presented her work at several international conferences. Currently, she is active on several projects, focusing on digital accessibility and UX design and is a guest editor of special issues at Sensors (ISSN 1424-8220).
