Mahmoud Ragab

Mahmoud Ragab is a Professor at Department of Information Technology, Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Also, He is a professor, data Science, Mathematics Department, Faculty of Science, Al Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt. He is currently the head of the Biological Quantum Computing Unit in the Centre for Artificial Intelligence in Precision Medicine, King Abdulaziz University. He is a former Consultant for the Vice Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research and a former Consultant for Vice President for Development, at KAU as well. In addition, He has been serving as an editorial board member of several reputed journals and working in different research groups at many universities such as the Combinatorial Optimization and Graph Algorithms Group (COGA), Faculty II Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Berlin University of Technology, Berlin, Germany, the British University in Egypt BUE, Arbeitsgruppe Stochastik“,Christian Albrechts University at Kiel CAU Kiel, Germany. Moreover, he worked as a research assistant in department of Computer Science and Automation, Integrated Communication Systems Group, Ilmenau University of Technology TU Ilmenau, Thuerengen, Germany. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Ragab received his B. Sc. in Statistics and Computer Science from Mansoura University, Mansoura, Egypt and M. Sc. Degree in Statistics & operations Research, Faculty of Science, Al Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Partial Quicksort Algorithms and weighted branching Processes from the faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the Christian-Albrechts-University at Kiel (CAU), Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. His research focuses on: Artificial intelligence in diseases and biomedical applications, AI techniques for Cancer detection and classification, Deep learning, Sorting algorithms / Efficiency, Optimization, Mathematical Modeling, Data Science / Data analysis, Applied Statistics, Neural Networks, Time series analysis, Quantum computation.
