Álvaro Pozo Pérez

Álvaro Pozo Pérez is an architect graduated from CEU San Pablo University with a Master of Science in Architecture (Architectural Design & Architectural Engineering). He was awarded the CEU Ángel Herrera Prize for the best academic performance at the Higher Polytechnic School CEU in 2024. Álvaro enriched his academic journey by doing an Erasmus program at the Karlsruher Institut für Technology University. For his final degree project, he designed a thermal leisure center as a prototype of degrowth strategy. He was selected for a research and teaching fellowship at CEU San Pablo University and, he collaborates with the ARIE research group, specializing in Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Architecture. Currently, he works at the internationally renowned firm Diller Scofidio + Renfro in New York.
