Lucília Cardoso

Lucília Cardoso holds a background in Management and Marketing, complemented by academic studies in applying Management to Tourism. With 5 years in accounting and a 7-year tenure in management consultancy at Valpaços City Council, she handled diverse tasks, including Human Resources and Project Management. Engaging in International Relations, she collaborated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In tourism, she contributed to the establishment of the Interactive Tourism Shop and Wine Museum. After earning her doctoral degree in 2010, she pursued an academic career focusing on Tourism Destination Image, applying principles from management, psychology, neuroscience, and neuromarketing. From 2010 to 2019, she served as a University Professor in Management, Marketing, and Tourism at four Portuguese institutions, transitioning to a research-focused career in 2020.
