Lori Kay Ferguson

Lori Ferguson is an Assistant Professor of Education and the Assistant Dean of the School of Education at Cedarville University. She earned her B.A. from Cedarville University in Elementary Education with a concentration in mathematics and taught middle school mathematics and third grade for many years. She earned her M.A. in Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton and later her Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction: Teaching Mathematics from the University of Cincinnati. She currently teaches mathematics content courses for education majors in addition to methods of teaching mathematics courses for P-5, middle childhood, and special education majors. Her research interests include mathematics language, preservice teacher mathematics education, and family engagement.
