Ling Dai

Ling Dai received his Bachelor's and Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering degrees from Zhejiang University, China, in 2001 and 2017, respectively. Between July 2001 and March 2013, he worked as an engineer in the Department of Clinical Medical Engineering at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine. From April 2013 to December 2021, he held the position of Information Center Director at Hangzhou Children's Hospital. Since January 2022, he has been serving as the Director of the Department of Medical Engineering at Hangzhou Children's Hospital. His work includes the development and implementation of several information systems within his hospital, leading to the achievement of a Level 4 Grade A rating for national healthcare information interoperability standards. He has authored over 10 journal articles and is the principal investigator for four research projects. His research interests include health information systems, artificial intelligence in healthcare, physiological measurement, and computational simulations of physiological systems.
