Lauren Brumley

Lauren Brumley is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Brumley received her PhD in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, completed her predoctoral internship at Nemours Children’s Health, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Child Abuse Research Education and Service (CARES) Institute at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. She teaches courses at the graduate level and supervises graduate students in clinical training. She has facilitated service-learning experiences through community partnerships for graduate students in multiple courses. Her research examines how exposure to adversity and trauma early in life may shape the ways in which adolescents and young adults envision their futures.
