Lauren Angelone

Lauren Angelone is an Associate Professor of Science Education and Instructional Technology. She is a former middle school science teacher with a PhD in Cultural Foundations, Technology, and Qualitative Inquiry from Ohio State University. Her teaching and research interests include the critical use of technology in teaching and teacher education, the intersection of science education and instructional technology, and current uses of technology by teachers, such as social media and AI. She was a Longview Foundation Global Teacher Education Fellow in 2022-2023, mentored by Shea Kherkoff, and has since been exploring the use of technology to globalize teacher education.
