Laura Krieger-Sample

Laura Krieger-SampleLaura Krieger-Sample has been an Instructor in the Department of Criminal Justice, Social Work, and Sociology at Southeast Missouri State University (Cape Girardeau, MO, USA) since 2012. Laura primarily teaches corrections-based courses (both institutional and non-institutional) as well as introduction to criminal justice, juvenile justice, victimology, and offender rehabilitation. In addition to her teaching load, she serves as the Criminal Justice Internship Coordinator. Laura has been a certified volunteer in corrections (VIC) for the Missouri Department of Corrections since 2015 and assists in the facilitation of restorative justice, reentry, leadership, and victimization programming. Her research interests are wide ranging, and she has presented and published in the areas of corrections, capital punishment, law enforcement, student empathy, leadership, and best practices in student learning.
