Laura JacquesDr. Laura Jacques joined the department as an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in October, 2013. Dr. Jacques completed her undergraduate education at Arizona State University where she graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Biology and society, a major that emphasized basic science, the humanities and the effect of one on the other through time. She then went to medical school at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Washington, Seattle. Dr. Jacques’ areas of interest and expertise in gynecology are medical and conservative management of uterine bleeding, minimally invasive surgery including robotic surgery, vulvar and vaginal infections and pain syndromes and cervical dysplasia. Dr. Jacques also manages both complicated and uncomplicated pregnancies. She enjoys working with her patients and their support person(s) to achieve the pregnancy and birth experience they are hoping for. “My practice goals are two-fold, first to provide excellent, evidence based care and second to ensure that that care is tailored to the individual woman”.
