L. Mary ShamalaL. Mary Shamala is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai, India. She received her Bachelor of Engineering Degree with distinction in Information Technology from Manonmanium Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, India. She pursued her M.Tech and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Pondicherry University, Puducherry, India. She has more than 12 years of teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her areas of interest include Internet of Things Cryptography, Network and Information Security, Blockchain technologies, and Privacy in Online Social Networks.
