Kyle Cabotaje

Kyle Cabotaje is a mental performance consultant who has a passion for helping individuals to improve their performance. As a competitive swimmer for 15 years, he experienced many challenges and setbacks, which negatively impacted his performance and enjoyment of the sport. These experiences inspired him to make a difference and help others through the challenges of athletics. In 2023 he obtained his Master’s in Sport and Performance Psychology from California Baptist University. During this time, Kyle worked with swimmers, dancers, volleyball and water polo players, and aspiring social workers on topics such as confidence, imagery, and stress management. While he enjoys working with any athlete or performer, Kyle specializes in working with injured athletes during their rehabilitation and helping them to return to play with confidence. This interest has led him to pursuing research related to injuries in sport, including changes in motivation due to athletic injury and athlete perceptions of social support during rehabilitation.
