Kwami Ahiabenu

Kwami Ahiabenu is a Tech Innovation Expert and Director at the Global Centre for Fintech Innovations, Canada. He has exceptional experience in FinTech and a deep understanding of Digital Financial systems, including e-commerce. Dr. Ahiabenu has worked in over 15 African countries and provides board leadership for FinTech firms focusing on using technology to drive financial inclusion. He has supported the rollout of Agency banking in Ghana, Nigeria, and Liberia. He received his PhD in Business Administration at Ghana Communication Technology University/CASS with a research focus on understanding technological innovations in the banking sector. He obtained a master’s degree in business administration, specialising in e-commerce, and many specialised certificates. He has published several peer-reviewed Fintech papers and is a reviewer of leading academic journals. His research interests include Fintech, digital payments, and technological innovations in the banking sector.
