Kristina Kaljo

Kristina KaljoKristina Kaljo, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Kaljo received her PhD in Urban Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction and Urban Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2014. She has taught undergraduate and graduate-level courses in teacher education and teacher preparation at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Currently at the Medical College, Dr. Kaljo oversees medical education research and innovations in curricular design. Her research interests include adult education, pedagogical content knowledge, and culturally responsive teaching. Dr. Kaljo has presented nationally and regionally on issues of higher education.
