is a distinguished Professor and Dean specializing in Finance at Chitkara Business School, located in Punjab, India. With over two decades of professional experience, Dr. Mehta boasts an impressive track record spanning teaching, research, authorship, and consultancy roles within the finance domain. Her academic journey encompasses more than 20 years, including over 13 years post-PhD and 7 years prior to earning her doctorate. Throughout her career, she has exhibited a profound commitment to academia and has emerged as a prolific author, editor, educator, and consultant in the field of finance. Dr. Mehta's scholarly contributions include authoring a comprehensive book on 'Financial Services,' which was published by Cengage, a reputable academic publisher. Furthermore, she has served as the editor for volumes published by IGI Global, DeGruyter and Wiley. In addition to her editorial endeavors, Dr. Mehta has demonstrated her expertise in developing study materials for finance and business-related courses, having authored nine complete course books and contributed to six others. Moreover, she has created two online resources and crafted 11 case studies, further enriching educational resources in the field. Beyond academia, Dr. Mehta has made significant contributions as a consultant, providing valuable insights and guidance to startups and small to medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).
