Kimberly Dawn Tsukiyama

Kimberly Tsukiyama , ABD is a doctoral student in Eastern Michigan University’s Educational Studies program with a concentration in urban education. Additionally, she is a lecturer in the Department of Teacher Education where she has previously taught curriculum and methods courses and currently teaches assessment practices and concepts for preservice elementary and secondary students. Her scholarly interest includes teacher readiness through teacher education and professional learning opportunities that equip practicing teachers for diverse populations of learners. Prior to pursuing her doctorate, she obtained her Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction and her Administrative Certification at Eastern Michigan University.
