Khairool Aizat Ahmad Jamal

Khairool Aizat Ahmad Jamal is a Certified Autodesk Revit Professional and an avid advocator of Building Information Modelling (BIM). He is registered as Graduate Architect with Malaysia Board of Architects (LAM) and Professional Technologist with Malaysia Board of Technologist (MBOT). Currently a PhD candidate in Built Environment studies, he holds an M.Sc degree in Integrated Construction Project Management from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UITM) and Bachelor of Architecture (Hons.) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He also obtained a Post-Graduate Certificate of Teaching and Learning with Taylor's University. Prior academia, he has over 6 years experience as an architect working with several local and international firms. His teaching roles involves working with students from different disciplines and background within the built environment, hence this unique experience has enhanced his knowledge of the whole construction process from a diverse perspectives, inspiring him to explore BIM and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) as a game-changing approach to transform the architecture and construction industry. He is currently active in research and supervision activities with several on-going research projects. He had also presented in numerous workshop and conferences and have published research books, articles in indexed journals and proceedings as well as magazines.
