Kelli Gary Talley

Gary Talley has a broad background in occupational therapy, rehabilitation counseling and public health with specific training in rehabilitation research for racial and ethnic outcomes for individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and other disabling conditions. Most of her research has utilized secondary data analysis for ethnographic research in short and long-term community outcomes.She has published as an author and coauthor over 30 publications and obtained federal and foundational funding for intervention development, capacity building with historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and projects with faith-based organizations for underserved populations and their caregivers. Her current work is with TBI, spinal cord injury (SCI), veterans, young and adolescent children, and intellectual and development disabilities (IDD).
