Karishma Desai

Karishma Desai is an Associate Professor, Associate Program Director and Ph.D. Supervisor at Atlas Skilltech University with 12 years teaching experience. She has pursued her MCom, PGDBA (Symbiosis), UGC NET, Ph.D (Commerce) in the subject of Business Policy and Administration. She is a passionate teacher, researcher, author, soft skills trainer and PoSH enabler . She has published around 20 research papers in ABDC and UGC peer reviewed journals and over 50 students have published their research papers in peer reviewed journals under her able guidance. Her latest book chapter publication in the Emerald book series on “The Adoption of Artificial Intelligence on Human Resources Management” is her latest feat. She is a peer reviewer for Emerald studies in Finance and Insurance Management. She has been the convenor and co- convenor of many National and International Seminars and has presented her papers in International Conferences and has also chaired sessions for International conferences. She won the National award for the best Enactus faculty leader sponsored by Mahindra and Mahindra in the year 2016 and has won the best Faculty award at her previous Educational Institution NMIMS in the year 2022. She is passionate about using various pedagogical innovations to migrate from teaching to learning, she actively involved herself in Covid vaccination drive initiative, She is an environment and fitness enthusiast.
