Karen F. Rickel

Karen Rickel , originally from San Francisco, California, USA, spent her childhood among diverse people and moved to Washington State to complete her higher education. She holds degrees in Health and Wellness Promotion from Eastern Washington University and her Master's and PhD in Physical Education with an emphasis in adult education from University of Idaho, USA. She has been at Gonzaga University for 18 years as professor in kinesiology and sport management and positively champions for diversity, equity and inclusion in her classes.
