Kara Rosenblatt

Kara Rosenblatt is an associate professor of special education and the department chair of the Teaching and Learning Department at UT Permian Basin. She attended Florida State University and completed her undergraduate and master's degree in special education - learning disabilities and emotional disturbances. After graduation, she taught middle school students with varying exceptionalities for five years. Dr. Rosenblatt received her PhD in Exceptional Education from the University of Central Florida in 2009. In her current role at UT Permian Basin, Dr. Rosenblatt teaches graduate-level special education courses and is the elementary education and professional education program coordinators. Her research interests focus on technology for teachers and students with high-incidence disabilities and teacher preparation.
