Kanchan Yadav

Kanchan Yadav is a PhD from Hemvanti Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Srinagar. She has joined the department of Humanities and social sciences, Graphic era university as Assistant Professor in 2018. She has a teaching and research experience of 9 years and has qualified UGC – NET in 2015. She has worked as faculty member and has taught fair number of Psychology subjects to UG, PG and PhD students. At present she is supervising 4 internal and 1 external research scholars. Her research area includes cognitive behavior therapy, positive psychology, counselling psychology, mindfulness and Depression. She has published number of research papers in national and international journals. She has extensive experience in guidance and counselling to enable the clients (patients / students) to know himself, identify his/ her strengths and weaknesses, to know the facts about education and occupations and to interpret them in relation to each other for planning his own future and to remove unnecessary mental pressures & tension.
