Juan Carlos Campos Rubio

Juan Carlos Campos Rubio was born in Chile, he is a Full Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Federal University of Minas Gerais (Belo Horizonte, Brazil). He obtained his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Maria (Brazil), in 1988 and his MSc in Mechanical Engineering (electro-mechanics and control) from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil) in 1992. He obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering (precision engineering) from the University of São Paulo (Brazil) in 2000. His research interests include precision engineering, composite materials, and machining process. He is the Head of Materials Innovation and Technology Group (GiTeM).
