Joseph Njiku

Joseph Njiku is an academician in the department of Educational Psychology and Curriculum Studies at the Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE). He graduated his PhD in mathematics education from the University of Rwanda – College of Education. He holds a Master degree in science education and bachelor degree in science majoring in mathematics both from the University of Dar es Salaam. Joseph Njiku believes that changes in education begin with teachers since Human resource is engineered by education and teachers make the heart of it. He is interested in researching how teachers and students navigate and negotiate within the tides of school dynamics. His research and writing are focused on teacher education, school practices, and STEM education.
