José Cabezas

José Cabezas has a Ph.D. in Ecology and has extensive research experience in sustainable management, conservation, and recovery of natural ecosystems (water, soil, fauna, flora, etc.), land use planning, environmental impact, remote sensing and GIS and spatial data infrastructure (SDI), aspects that are fundamentally oriented towards the conservation of transboundary Mediterranean ecosystems and their sustainability. His projects have focused on the development of geographic models of environmental and territorial management for rural areas with low population density for better and more coherent management of the territory, with a special focus on cross border cooperation.
