João Thomaz

João Fernandes Thomaz is a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management (Técnico-IST/ULisboa), Master’s in Management (ULusíada), Specialist in Safety Engineering (WQI) and in Flight Safety (PT Air Force), with graduation in Military Sciences – Artillery (PT Military Academy). Professor at ISLA-Santarém, researcher, trainer and facilitator in People and Organizations Administration, Assessment and Strategic Management, Logistics and Supply Chain, and Qualitative Research Methods. Develops research at the CEG-IST/ULisboa and the Project Management Research Group of the Informatics Centre/UFPE (Recife, PE, Brazil). Creator of HumanSysPA – Human Systematic Performance Appraisal System, a socio-technical system for evaluating people’s performance, connected with the organization’s strategy and built with People’s active and effective participation.
