John J. Liggat

John Liggat joined the University of Strathclyde in 1994 after working for several years in the plastics industry with ICI. He is currently Professor of Polymer Science and Technology in the Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry at the University of Strathclyde and the Science Faculty’s Vice-Dean for Knowledge Exchange. John’s research group has major research interests across a wide spectrum of polymer chemistry, physics and technology. Both as a researcher and in his role as Vice-Dean, he has a particular enthusiasm for supporting the innovation process in SMEs.
