Jogymol K. Alex

Jogymol Alex is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education at the College of Education in the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) in UAE. She joined UAEU in January 2024 from Walter Sisulu University, South Africa, where she was a full Professor in Mathematics Education and Head of the Department of Mathematics and Sciences Education. Her research interests concern how mathematics pre-service and in-service teachers and school learners can be empowered through teaching, research, and community projects with local, national, and international partnerships. This has earned her numerous awards in teaching and learning and community engagement.
