Jewel Kumar Roy

Jewel Kumar Roy is pursuing a PhD in Financial Technology at Széchenyi István University, Hungary. He holds the position of Assistant Professor at Department of Finance and Banking, Faculty of Business Administration, Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, Bangladesh. Previously, he held the position of Lecturer at Daffodil International University, Bangladesh. He has obtained his MSc in Financial Technology (FinTech) from University of Stirling, Scotland, along with MBA in Finance and BBA in Financial Management from Savitribai Phule Pune University, India. He has also been awarded the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship, Commonwealth Shared Scholarship, ICCR Scholarship, and Bangladesh Government Scholarship for academic excellence. Jewel has certifications in Python for Finance, Blockchain Business Models, and FinTech. He has published articles in international journals and reviewed articles for Scopus-indexed journals. He has also conducted seminars and training programs on Financial Technology. His research interests encompass Artificial Intelligence, Financial Technology, ESG, Blockchain, Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), Cryptocurrencies and Machine Learning.
