Jayasree S. Kanathasan

Jayasree S. Kanathasan is Program Coordinator in Biomedical Science Department at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Lincoln University. Dr Jayasree completed her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from University Tunku Abdul Rahman. She pursued her postgraduate studies in Master of Engineering Science (Research) and Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering at Monash University Malaysia sponsored by Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and Monash University scholarship. She designed her PhD project on peptide functionalized fluorescent porous silicon and carbon dot nanoparticles for breast cancer imaging which was awarded with FRGS grant and known as one of the outstanding projects in the round of application for the year 2016. Her work was presented in International Conference on Advances in Functional Materials, University of California, Los Angeles.
