Jaime Moreira Ribeiro

Jaime Ribeiro has a PhD in Multimedia in Education from the University of Aveiro and a degree in Occupational Therapy from the Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Saúde do Porto. He is an Assistant Professor at Politécnico de Leiria. He coordinates the aTOPlab - Assistive Technology and Occupational Performance Laboratory. He is a full member of the Portuguese Society of Rehabilitation Engineering, Assistive Technologies and Accessibility (SUPERA). He is a member of the Center for Innovative Care and Health Technology of the Polytechnic of Leiria (ciTechCare) and collaborates with the Centre for Research in Didactics and Technology for Training Trainers of the University of Aveiro (CIDTFF-UA). He is the creator and editor-in-chief of the Revista Portuguesa de Terapia Ocupacional – Portuguese Journal of Occupational Therapy. His teaching and research focus on Occupational Therapy, Technologies and Assistive Products, qualitative approach in research, rehabilitation, cognitive rehabilitation/stimulation, functionality/disability, use of technologies in teaching and learning processes and ageing.
