Isabel-María García Sánchez

Isabel-María García-Sánchez is a Full Professor of Accounting and Finance at the University of Salamanca. Her main research line is focused on sustainability and aimed at determining the reasons and factors that lead companies to develop different strategies and their economic impacts, as well as on the design of aggregate indicators that measure the business commitment to the different dimensions of sustainability both at the country and the sector level. Using Scopus, she has 205 documents and 8,878 citations (H-Index: 50). The recognition of her research career by the academy shows a growing trajectory, position 6,114 in the Ranking of the World Scientists: World’s Top 2% Scientists in 202. She has published papers in top journals ranked with a high JCR impact factor, such as British Management Journal, Corporate Governance: An International Review, Journal of Banking & Finance, Business & Society, Long Range Planning, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, among others.
