Irene Navarro-del Aguila

Irene Navarro-del Aguila is a graduate in Economics and Business studies from the University of Almeria (1994). She holds a Master’s degree in Business Management and Economics (2008) and is currently a Ph.D. candidate and Interim lecturer at the Department of Economics and Business at the University of Almeria from February 2023. She works in Coexphal from October 2020 as a researcher in several European projects such as CO-FRESH (Horizon2020), to promote efficient agri-food value chains, through the integration of sustainable innovations, and CODECS (Horizon Europe) that evaluates and costs and benefits of the digitisation in farms. She has extensive 25-year experience in the fruit and vegetable sector in Almeria. She has been working in previous management positions in A. Navarro S.A.
