Henrique Curado

Henrique Curado has a PhD in Law; MSc in European Economics. Vice-President of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (IPP), for legal affairs (04/2018 – 04/2022). Coordinating Professor of the School of Health (IPP); coordinator of the area of Management in Health (2006-2023); Vice-President (2011-2015) of the Scientific Council and member of the Ethics Committee (2011-2023). Subdirector of the Master's Degree in Management of the Association of Polytechnics of the North and of the branch of health units (2016 - 2018). President of the Disciplinary Committee of the National Union of Higher Education (2016 - 2018) and vice-president (2003 - 2016). Legal advisor to the Government of Timor-Leste (02/2007 - 12/2009). Collaboration with the Faculty of Law of the Universities of: Timor-Lorosae; Vigo, Ourense and Autonomous of Barcelona; CIESA - University Centre for Higher Education of Amazonas (Manaus and Acre). Author of academic works, seminars and national and international collective works (use of DNA profiling; personal data). Volunteer in: GAS-África (Coimbra, 1996); Hospital de Viana do Castelo (1982-83) IPSS Espaço-t (Porto, since 2004) and CASA – PORTO (since 2018).
