Helga Mayr

Helga Mayr studied International Economic and Business Studies at the University of Innsbruck and at Tulane University, New Orleans/USA as well as Business Education at the University of Innsbruck where she finished both with a Diploma's degree. She taught at several vocational schools in Austria, worked in the field of school quality management and for the local education authority in the fields of health promotion in schools and education for sustainable development (ESD), among others. Since 2019, she coordinates the area of ESD at the University College of Teacher Education Tyrol/Austria. She is a lecturer at the University of Innsbruck, facilitates workshops and develops teaching materials. In the course of her doctoral thesis she deals with the design thinking approach in the context of education for sustainable development (with and without digital media).
