Hege Knudsmoen

Hege Knudsmoen is associate professor and academic international coordinator at Department of Primary and Secondary Teacher Education, Faculty of Education and International Studies, Oslo Metropolitan University. Her research is primarily in the field of adapted, inclusive and special education. She has now a special focus upon international perspectives; internship as practicum in the Global South, study exchange abroad, other mobility programme and recently focus upon internationalization at home. Her research interest includes mobilities of both physical and virtual character to and from the Global South and North and its impacts on education. She develops virtual mobility with international partners, recently implemented collaborative online international learning (COIL) inspired virtual teacher students’ mobility with partners in the Global South.
