Gnanasekaran Thangavel has published fifty nine journals and ninety three research papers at various national and international conferences. He recognized supervisor of Anna University in Information and Communication Engineering. Currently he has guided Seven PhD scholars. He has co authored six books. He has filed five patents and granted one patent. He has organized many Conferences, Technical Symposiums, Seminars and Faculty Development programmes. Most of them are sponsored by reputed national funding organizations like AICTE, ISTE, DRDO, CSIR etc. He is also reviewer for many international journals and conferences. He is an active member of societies like IEEE, IET, ISTE, IE(I), IAENG, IDS and ACEEE. He is associated with Agilent Technologies, Alcatel-Lucent, National Instruments, Erircsson, TCS, CTS, and Wipro Technologies etc. He has 34 years of teaching experience and 15 years research experience. Presently he is working as Professor and Head of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering department at R M K Engineering College, Chennai.
