Giuseppe CurcioAfter graduation in General and Experimental Psychology (110/110 cum laude) at University of Rome “La Sapienza”, prof. Curcio passed the licensing examination required to practice as a Psychologist in Italy. Then he obtained the Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology and Psychophysiology. He has been research consultant of Italian Air Force Aerospace Medicine Research Center (D.A.S.R.S.), within the Neuropsychophysiology Group, Pratica di Mare AFB (Rome), at the Neuroscience Unit of University “Campus Bio-Medico” of Rome, and at “San Raffaele” Research and Health Center Hospital, Cassino (Fr, Italy). He spent a period of study at the Unit for Work, Environment and Health, IPM-National Institute for Psychosocial Factors and Health - Karolinska Institute in Stockholm (Sweden), and at Department of Neurology and Neuroscience, Fatebenefratelli Hospital, Rome (Italy). In the last years his teaching activity was mainly focused on Physiological Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Cognitive Neurosciences, Ageing Psychology. Currently, Prof. Curcio is Director of the Cognitive and Behavioral Sciences Laboratory, at University of L’Aquila. Prof. Curcio is referee for several scientific journals as: Aviation Space and Environmental Medicine, Behavioral and Brain Functions, Bioelectromagnetics, Biological Psychology, Cerebral Cortex, Environmental Health, International Journal of Psychophysiology, Journal of Sleep Research, Neurological Sciences, Neuroscience Letters, Pediatrics, PLOS One, Scientific Reports, Sleep, Sleep Medicine, Sleep Medicine Reviews. He is also in the Editorial Board of several international scientific journals.
