Ghazia Batool is a dynamic researcher and educator, dedicated to making a positive impact in the fields of finance, circular economy, and sustainable business practices. Ms. Batool has explored critical areas, including financial challenges in implementing circular business models in the textile industry, determinants of capital structure of high technology companies, and the industry sensitivity and sustainable growth rate of Shariah-compliant firms with the moderating role of COVID-19. Her work also extends to the exploration of circular economy principles and the intersection of Islamic business and management. She has significantly contributed to the academic discourse with publications such as “Regulation in Recycling and Circularity: Future Prospective” and “Circular Business Model,” both featured in the esteemed “Circularity in Textiles” published by Springer in 2023. Another notable contribution is the review article titled “Circularity in Materials: A Review on Polymer Composites Made from Agriculture and Textile Waste” published in the International Journal of Sustainable Materials. Ms. Batool's strengths lie in her effective communication and leadership skills. Her ability to actively listen, coach, and collaborate has been instrumental in her academic and research endeavors. College University Faisalabad, Sahiwal Campus, and additional experience at Bahauddin Zikriya University Multan, Sahiwal Campus, Ms. Batool has demonstrated a commitment to education. Her tenure as a TVM in ZONG CM PAK and internship at Askari Islamic Bank reflects her practical knowledge in the corporate sector. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Management Sciences with a focus on finance at the National Textile University, Faisalabad, Ms. Batool holds an MS/MBA from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology and a BBA (Hons) from Bahauddin Zakariya University.
