Geshwaree Huzooree

Geshwaree Huzooree (The Business School, Edinburgh Napier University, Craiglockhart Campus, Edinburgh) Dr. Geshwaree Huzooree is a Lecturer in Strategy and Project Management for the MBA Programme at the Edinburgh Napier University. Prior to joining Edinburgh Napier University, she was a Senior IT lecturer at Curtin Mauritius for eight years. She also reckons seven years’ IT industry experience in software application development and project management. She holds a PhD in Computer Science (2020), an MSc Software Engineering Projects and Management (2014) and a BSc Computer Science and Engineering (2007) from the University of Mauritius. Dr. Geshwaree has a close collaboration with various universities and institutions world-wide. Her main research interests include project management, health Informatics, social informatics, and mobile technologies. She is committed to carry out innovative applied research that tackles national challenges for a better future. She received the Best Oral Presenter Award in the National Research Week in the Higher Education Sector in the field of Science, Technology and Engineering on her innovative work on the “Recent Advances on Sensor Technologies for Monitoring Diabetes Patients” in 2018.
