G. Balamurugan is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Computing Technologies at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur Campus, Chengalpattu, Tamilnadu. He is holding 8 years of experience in academics. He received his Doctorate in Philosophy (Computer Science and Engineering) in 2023. He obtained his M.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering) in 2015 with University Rank in Pondicherry University. He received his B.Tech (Information Technology) in 2013 from Pondicherry University. He is holding a life time membership in IAENG and ISTE. His research domain is Video Processing and Computer vision. He has published various research papers in reputed journals like Scopus index and Science citation index. He filled 3 design patents in IPR, 2 Patent publications under IPR, 1 Product Grant in IPR and 1 copyright in Canadian IPR. He has participated in IEEE, Springer Conferences and won best paper awards International Conference on Emerging Innovative Technologies in Engineering -2022 sponsored by AICTE. His area of interest includes Artificial Intelligence, Information Security, IoT, Video Processing, Deep Learning and Computer Vision.
