Franklin S. Allaire

Franklin S. Allaire , Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Science Education in the Department of Urban Education at the University of Houston-Downtown where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in elementary and secondary science methods. His research interests focus on issues impacting the success of historically marginalized peoples in STEM-related fields and the innovative use of technologies and pedagogies in the professional development of science teachers and teacher candidates.
