Felipe Schuch

Dr. Felipe Barreto Schuch holds a full degree in physical education from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2008) and a master's degree (2011) and a doctorate (2015) in Medical Sciences: Psychiatry from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He is currently an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM). Coordinator of the research group on physical exercise and mental health at UFSM. Master's advisor in the Graduate Program in Movement Sciences and Rehabilitation (UFSM). Member of the task force on lifestyle medicine for depression of the World Federation of Societies of Biological Psychiatry and the task force on physical exercise and nutrition for bipolar mood disorder of the International Society for Bipolar Disorders. Listed as one of the most cited authors in the area "Psychology and psychiatry" in the years 2020, 2021 and 2022 in the list of Clarivate/Web of Science. Listed, by the researcher.com, in the second position in Brazil and in the 363rd position in the world in the "2022 Rising Star of Science Award", for all areas of knowledge.
