Fatma Sezin Dogruer

Fatma Sezin Doğruer , who was born in 1981, graduated from Department of Architecture in Middle East Technical University in 2003. She completed her Master’s program in History of Architecture in Middle East Technical University in 2006. She attended British Museum’s International Training Programme in U.K. in 2009. She took education for 6 months in 2016 with a state scholarship as a visiting scholar in graduate program of Museum Studies in Texas Tech University in U.S.A. during her doctorate programme in Conservation of Cultural Properties in Gazi University, to which she had started in 2014. She graduated from the doctorate programme in 2019. She gave lectures in Karabük University and Sakarya University, Department of Architecture as a guest instructor in 2020 and 2021. She gave lecture in English in Texas Tech University and Boğaziçi University as a guest in 2021. She deserved the title of Associate Professorhip in 2023. She presently works as a culture and tourism expert in General Directorate for Cultural Heritage and Museums in Ministry of Culture and Tourism. She works on the editorial board of the Turkish Journal of Archaeology and Ethnography. She has knowledge of advance English and intermediate German.
