Fanta Solomon from Trinidad and Tobago, holds a diverse academic background and professional experience, shaping her into a multifaceted educator and researcher in the fields of environmental science and educational technology. With a passion for both environmental sustainability and innovative learning methodologies, Ms. Solomon has dedicated her career to fostering knowledge and understanding in these critical areas. After obtaining her Bachelor's degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology, Ms. Solomon pursued further education, earning a Master's degree in Environmental Science Management. This academic journey deepened her understanding of environmental issues and equipped her with the knowledge to develop effective strategies for environmental conservation and sustainability. Driven by a desire to integrate technology into education and enhance learning experiences for her son, Ms. Solomon pursued a second Master's degree in Education and Educational Technology. This interdisciplinary background uniquely positions her at the intersection of environmental science and education, allowing her to explore innovative approaches to teaching and learning. Ms. Solomon’s career in education spans over twelve years, during which she served as both a primary and secondary school educator. Her dedication to teaching has left a lasting impact on countless students, instilling in them a passion for environmental stewardship and digital literacy. As a researcher, Ms. Solomon’s interests encompass environmental management and planning, e-learning methodologies, and digital citizenship. Currently, Ms. Solomon serves as a Learning Systems Manager, where she oversees the implementation of educational technologies and digital learning platforms. In addition to her administrative role, she also teaches classes in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Human Social Biology (HSB), at the secondary school level. Ms. Solomon’s commitment to education, environmental sustainability, and technological innovation continues to drive her work, as she strives to create meaningful learning experiences and contribute to positive change in both the educational and environmental spheres.
