Faisal Javaid

Faisal Javaid is working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of International Relations, Federal Urdu University of Arts Sciences and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his PhD in international relations from the Federal Urdu University of Arts Sciences and Technology, Pakistan and Post Doctorate from Harriman Institute, Columbia University, New York, USA. He edited two books and wrote nearly 30 research papers that have been published in international and national Journals. He has arranged and organized two international conferences successfully. He has participated in several national and international conferences and presented his research work. He is a member of the International Political Science Association (IPSA), Midwest Political Science Association (MPSA), Association for Political Theory (APT) and International Studies Association (ISA). He is working as a Guest Researcher at Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development, Germany in the Project titled “TRANSECT’. He is serving as Non-Resident Fellow at the Institute of Policy Studies (IPS), Islamabad. His areas of interest are Central Asia, Russia, China, Foreign Policy Analysis and International Security.
