Emmanuel Mphafudi

Emmanuel Mphafudi is a Production Shift Manager at Buckman Laboratories in South Africa in the Province of KwaZulu-Natal. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He is passionate about safety leadership and driving a safety culture in the chemical manufacturing industry. Safety is of utmost importance in the chemical industry as they handle, use and store hazards materials. The wrong handling of chemicals can result in damage to property, fire, damage to the environment and fatalities. Therefore, it is important for those companies that handle chemicals to teach, train and to show commitment to their staff in the safe handling of hazardous chemicals. Emmanuel also has an interest in the corporate governance of companies, finance, micro and macro economy and supply chain.
