Elvira Vieira

Elvira Vieira holds a PhD in Applied Economics at the University of Santiago de Compostela, in 2007. Since 2012, is Dean of ISAG ¿ European Business School, where she is also Principal Coordinating Professor and Member of the Technical-Scientific Council. Invited Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo - School of Business Sciences. Integrated Member at the Applied Management Research Unit (UNIAG) since 2010, and Collaborator Member at the Research Centre in Business Sciences and Tourism (CICET - FCVC), since 2021. Coordinated the ISAG Research Centre (NIDISAG) between 2009 and 2021. Author of more than 160 publications in scientific journals with peer reviewd, some indexed in the various international databases (WoS - Clarivate Analytics and Scopus). Published 12 book chapters and 3 books. Supervised 4 doctoral theses and 25 master's dissertations. Received 2 awards and/or honours. Has participated as a researcher in 30 projects and has been the lead researcher on 15. Works in the areas of Social Sciences with an emphasis on Economics, Management, Tourism, Regional and Cross-border Development, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, -Information and Communication Technologies and Corporate Governance.
