Elizabeth Paola Giron

Elizabeth Paola Giron was born and raised in Long Branch, New Jersey. Growing up in a diverse city, Elizabeth embraced the culture and languages of those around her and of her own Central American roots. She took her love for cultures and languages to Rutgers University-Newark where she received her Bachelor's in Spanish Language and Literature with minors in Portuguese and Art. Elizabeth continued her studies at Monmouth University obtaining both her certification in English-as-a-Second Language and Master's in School Counseling. Elizabeth currently teaches ESL and Spanish at a high school in Monmouth County, NJ and has previous experience as a School Counselor. As a first generation graduate and daughter of immigrants, Elizabeth continues her studies at Monmouth University pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership focusing on ESL support for students and teachers. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and unleashing her creativity. Elizabeth resides in Monmouth County, NJ with her boyfriend and three year old son.
