Elias Mabaso

Elias Mabaso is an Independent Researcher with a PhD in Disaster Risk Management with a focus on urban resilience and informality. Has published a few articles on Disaster Risk management in peer reviewed journals. More than 20 years of experience in Disaster Risk management, Response planning and resilience building. Worked for international NGOs involved in Disaster Risk management such as Save the Children UK and international organisations that include UNDP and UNOCHA. Also worked as a lecturer at the University of Zimbabwe and National University of Science and Technology teaching both under post graduate students courses that included Disaster and Development, Disaster preparedness planning and Project planning and development.
